Has Joe Alwyn finally moved on from Taylor Swift?

Taylor Swift’s ex Joe Alwyn “certainly doesn’t talk poorly about her.”

Joe Alwyn is reportedly "doing well" and "focused on work" more than a year after his split from the pop icon.

According to a source from People Magazine, the 33-year-old actor is “dating and happy,” emphasising that “he’s a great guy and not into drama in any way.”

Alwyn has “moved on” from Swift, 34, and “certainly doesn’t talk poorly about her,” the source says. “He was in love with her, and it just didn’t work out.” 

The source also mentioned, “Joe loves acting, but can’t stand the attention that comes with it. He’s not comfortable in the spotlight.”

Alwyn and Swift were first linked in May 2017, and fans believe they met at the 2016 Met Gala.

Their first public appearances together were in 2018. In an interview with The Guardian in August 2019, Swift stated, "Our relationship isn't up for discussion."

During the promotion of her last album before her breakup with Alwyn, "Midnights," she described the track "Lavender Haze" as addressing the challenges of dating in the spotlight.

In a now-deleted Instagram video about the song, she spoke about her six-year relationship: "we've had to dodge weird rumors, tabloid stuff, and we just ignore it."

The "Fortnight" singer is dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and the pair were first seen together in September 2023.
