Rapper Kid Cudi suffered an injury and had to exit the stage during his Coachella performance on Sunday. The 40-year-old entertainer had leaped off the stage to engage with fans, but this action led to him getting hurt.
Cudi, whose real name is Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, was an unexpected addition to the festival's second weekend lineup, captivating a large audience at the Sahara tent. However, towards the end of his 40-minute set, while performing his popular track "Memories," he tried to jump down from the stage and hurt his foot in the process.
After a clumsy fall, Cudi winced in pain and had to be helped off by two individuals since he couldn't put any weight on his leg. Later, he updated concerned fans on social media, revealing that he had broken his foot and was leaving the hospital.

Desert Sun reported that despite Kid Cudi's injury, there were still one-and-a-half songs left in his performance slot. The crowd enjoyed a recording of his popular song "Pursuit of Happiness" to end the set, unaware of Cudi's injury and absence from the stage.
Kid Cudi is set to embark on a tour in June for his new album "Insano." During his Coachella set, he also performed two songs from the new album, including the live debut of "Blue Sky" followed by "Powerboy."
