Under the guidance of Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan, a meeting convened on Thursday to strategize for the upcoming elections across the province. Chaired by the Chief Secretary himself, the meeting focused on ensuring the integrity and fairness of the electoral process throughout Balochistan.

In attendance were key figures including Provincial Election Commissioner Muhammad Farid, Additional Chief Secretary Interior Zahid Saleem Afridi, Secretary Local Government Noor Ahmed Perkani, along with deputy commissioners and other officials who joined remotely. Together, they deliberated on plans for the upcoming by-elections in areas such as Kohlu, Killa Abdullah, Khuzdar, and Lasbella.

The discussion encompassed arrangements for polling stations across these regions, with 100 stations earmarked for Khuzdar, 129 for Lasbela, 125 for Qila Abdullah, and 4 for Kohlu on April 21 and 24.
