Ezra Miller, known for 'The Flash' and 'Fantastic Beasts', has been quietly replaced in 'Invincible' Season 2.
Miller voiced the villainous D.A. Sinclair in Season 1. The character returns in a nightmare sequence but is now voiced by Eric Bauza ('X-Men '97', 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles').
The animated series 'Invincible' is based on the comic of the same name and features stars from 'The Walking Dead'. It follows Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who discovers his father (J.K. Simmons) is a powerful superhero.
Miller has faced a string of arrests, accusations of assault, abuse, and grooming children. Charges have been dropped in some cases following plea deals. In 2022, Miller apologized, stating to Entertainment Weekly, "I want to apologise to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life."
Despite the controversies, 'The Flash' director Andy Muschietti supported Miller and did not recast them. Muschietti expressed empathy for those with mental health struggles, adding, "That's why they are taking the necessary steps to deal with their recovery, and we support them in that."
