More than 100 journalists from 35 media outlets and research organisations on Tuesday participated in a practical training session conducted by the British High Commission on climate journalism.
The journalists delved into intricate matters surrounding climate change and nature preservation, engaging in discussions that highlighted journalism's pivotal role on the forefront of climate change. They explored methods for uncovering authentic climate stories at the grassroots level and honed their skills in effectively conveying them to their audiences.
“Journalists play a pivotal role in helping Pakistani people understand how climate change affects them,” British High Commission Development Director Jo Moir said while speaking on the occasion.
