Her debut album, which dropped on March 22, showcases Tyla's unique blend of pop and amapiano, a South African genre that combines elements of house, kwaito, and jazz.

With collaborations from artists like Gunna, Travis Scott, and Becky G, Tyla's album promises to deliver a diverse range of sounds and styles.

"I just wanted to bring people into the Tyla world," she says of the album's creation in an interview with The Guardian. "It's sunny, with music bumping, and everyone in ripped clothing."

Despite facing challenges such as a recent injury that led to the rescheduling of her world tour, Tyla remains committed to her craft and excited about the future. As her debut album climbs the charts and garners praise from fans and critics alike.

"This is very much the beginning of the journey," she told The Guardian. "We are now living what we've been speaking about for years. I'm just excited for everything else that's to come."
