KARACHI:

A delegation of MNAs and MPAs from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) visited the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) office on Thursday and met the Managing Director Imran Maniar and General Manager Kamran Nagi. The delegation discussed several pressing issues, including load shedding, low gas pressure, pipeline leakages, and the conversion of pipelines to PV pipes in their respective constituencies, particularly in Karachi. The delegation included MNAs Asia Ishaq, Ahmed Saleem Siddiqui, Amir Moin Pirzada, and MPAs Najam Mirza, Taha Khan, Shariq Jamal, Mouaz Mehboob, and Adil Askari. They conveyed the public concerns regarding the suspension of gas supply to domestic consumers and the dwindling gas pressure. The delegation urged for immediate restoration of gas supply in areas experiencing a complete suspension of gas. Both the sides agreed to hold regular meetings every three months to address public issues.
