Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion is hitting the road for a 31-city 'Hot Girl Summer' tour, her first-ever US and International headlining tour. Including Texas performances in Dallas (June 11, American Airlines Arena) and Austin (June 13, Moody Center).
Memphis rapper GloRilla will open for Megan Thee Stallion. General public tickets go on sale Friday 22nd. Megan's Houston homecoming show is June 14th.
She's got a new album planned for later this year, and fans got a taste of her new sound last year with her collaboration "41" alongside Kyle Richh.
The "hot girl summer" slogan exploded in popularity in 2019. Megan Thee Stallion seized the moment, releasing her official "Hot Girl Summer'' song that year. She took her ownership a step further and secured the trademark for the phrase in 2022.
Fresh off the success of her Hot 100 No. 1 single "Hiss," Megan Thee Stallion is ready to continue her winning streak in 2024.
Some fans assumed that some of the lyrics for “Hiss” took aim at Nicki Minaj. Minaj and Megan have had a long-running feud which began with Megan Thee Stallion's collaboration with Cardi B on "WAP."
Since Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have had a long-standing feud, Megan's choice to collaborate with Cardi B was perceived by some as choosing sides.
