An earthquake of 5.3 magnitude on Richter Scale jolted various regions of Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday, with no reports of any damages or casualties thus far, Express News reported.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC), besides Islamabad, tremors were felt in Peshawar, Mardan, Malakand, Kohat, Swat, Buner, Shangla, Nowshera, and Sialkot.

The earthquake measured 5.3 on the Richter scale, while the depth of the earthquake's epicentre was 130 kilometres underground. The epicentre of the earthquake was in the Hindukush region of Afghanistan.
