"The overwhelming love for Tere Bin and its characters has touched hearts around the world." It continued to state, "Recent reports of a potential remake of Tere Bin in India under the same title and storyline, though unconfirmed officially, have come to our attention. We wish to clarify that no consent or permission has been sought from the producers or the channel regarding this matter."
The statement further said, "While we appreciate the inspiration that Tere Bin has provided to audiences and producers globally, we emphasise the importance of any remake or adaptation being conducted with due regard to legal, ethical and moral considerations. We hold deep respect for our fellow producers and request that this fundamental professional courtesy should be upheld."
According to Indian media reports, Ektaa has joined forces with Colors TV, a prominent Indian channel, to bring the compelling narrative to the Indian audience. Reports suggest that actors Kanika Mann and Ayesha Singh are under consideration for the lead roles in the adaptation.
Ektaa, whose melodramatic flair in production and direction has become a staple of Indian drama serials, has heightened anticipation as to what Tere Bin’s Indian remake would look like.
