KARACHI:

Police have registered a case against several people for allegedly setting fire to vehicles and shops near a small market last Friday.

The FIR was registered on the complaint of Muhammad Kamran, who stated that on the afternoon of February 23, his wife informed him about smoke bellowing from the shops beneath their house. Before that, she also saw six people, identified as Sharjeel, Ahmad Raza, Hasnain Raza, Hanan Raza, Bilal Raza, and Bashir, running from the roof of their house.

As soon as I reached home, I found fire brigade and 15 police vehicles there, with his white Suzuki High Roof, Mehran car, and other belongings ablaze. Witnesses at the scene said that the alleged arsonists had fled. The complainant claimed that the accused had been threatening him and his family.
