LAHORE: Pakistan’s cycling contingent has been cleared by the Indian authorities to participate in the Tour de Delhi with the Pakistan Sports Board also giving the team the green light to participate. A six-member team for the event will leave on September 9 with the race starting on September 11. The cyclists have been preparing hard for the event and the Pakistan Cycling Federation General Secretary Idrees Haider Khawaja is confident of a good show. “We’ve done the required training,” he said. “The boys have the potential to do well.”
