Police step up security at SC

SP warns policemen on duty that negligence or carelessness would not be tolerated

The capital police have stepped up the security of the Supreme Court building, particularly for a few judges, and deployed patrol units at the courts located in the high security zone on the occasion of the hearing of important cases.

In this regard, the superintendent of police (SP), who heads the Judicial Protection Unit, visited the high security zone and instructed the policemen to perform their duties diligently and efficiently.

The Islamabad Capital Police have said they are taking all possible measures to protect the lives and property of the citizens.

“No one will be allowed to disturb the public peace,” the police said. The SP warned the policemen on duty that negligence or carelessness would not be tolerated.
