In a powerful display of solidarity, actors Ayesha Omar and Armeena Khan have rallied behind Nomaika Ashfaq Satti, who recently came forward with allegations of domestic violence against her husband, news anchor Ashfaq Satti. The two stars took to their respective Instagram accounts to voice their support for the survivor, condemning the alleged incident and advocating for justice.

Ayesha expressed her empathy, stating, "I cannot tell you how sorry I am to hear about your ordeal. I'm so sorry you had to go through this horrific experience. Alhamdulilah, you've survived." She extended heartfelt wishes for Nomaika's recovery, praying for strength and emphasising that the survivor will become an inspiration to others facing similar situations. The star assured Nomaika that she was not alone and offered her support, concluding with a message of love and strength.

Armeena, in her response, went a step further, advocating for stricter consequences for individuals accused of domestic violence. She voiced her belief that such individuals should face comparable treatment and underscored the need for stronger legal measures. Expressing empathy for survivors of domestic violence, Armeena lamented the lack of fairness in the world and wished for a more just society.

The star stated, "I honestly think such men should receive the same treatment. They only do this because there are no laws. It is done because often the woman is physically weak. If only they knew the punishment that awaits them in the hereafter for such savagery. My heart goes out to my fellow sisters who go through this. I wish the world was fairer."

Nomaika recently took to her socials to share details of the alleged abuse. "I write this while suffering from multiple injuries on my entire body, my ribs, my jaw, and my face," she said on X. "Every part of me is badly injured. I’ve been beaten almost to death by my own husband. I need your help and support as he is very influential." She attached images of the injuries in the post.

In light of these expressions of support from prominent figures in the entertainment industry, the incident has sparked a broader conversation about the need for awareness, advocacy, and legal reforms to address the issue of domestic violence in various societies.
