Abducted minor girl rescued, teen kidnapper held

Police stopped kidnapper during snap checking, interrogation revealed that boy had abducted girl

KARACHI:

The Aram Bagh police arrested an alleged kidnapper and rescued a minor girl from his captivity during a snap checking in the Garden area.

According to the spokesperson for the police, a teenage boy, Asher, 14, had kidnapped the nineyear-old girl and was taking her to somewhere on a motorcycle.

The police stopped him during the snap checking and the interrogation revealed that the boy had abducted the girl.

A case of her abduction was registered in the Garden police station.

The investigation into the matter also revealed that Asher had been jailed before on charges of stealing a motorcycle.

The rescued girl and the accused were handed over to Garden police for further action.
