PPP accuses MQM-P of attacking its PR office
The leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) have accused Muttahida Qaumi Movemenent Pakistan (MQM-P) of the party’s Public Relation (PR) office in North Nazimabad, in an attempt to influence the central district election.
Speaking at the press conference, PPP leaders, Khawaja Sohail Mansoor, Masroor Ahsan, former MPA Wasim Qureshi, and Asad Hanif expressed their concerns regarding the incident. Mansoor said that MQM-P is in panic witnessing the perceived success of PPP in the central district. He claimed that MQM-P operates through PSP and suggested a dialogue to potentially withdraw the FIR if the attacking party’s leaders engage in talks.

Mansoor expressed confidence in the law enforcement agencies and said that it is the democratic right of every citizen to chose a party. Waseem Qureshi urged the political workers to focus on the common issues rather than getting swayed by leaders, emphasising the upcoming election as a campaign, not a tribal war.
Meanwhile, the Hyderi Market police registered the FIR of the attack on PR office of PPP in North Nazimabad. Around 40 to 50 persons including MQM-P offi- cials and workers Junaid Sheikh, Rizwan, Asad, Mahmood and Awais have been nominated in the FIR.
The FIR stated that on Saturday night, at around 9pm, 40 to 50 people at- tacked the public relations office of PPP. The pictures and the party flags were torn down and the people present in the office were beaten and thrown out of the office
