Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Senior Deputy Convener Dr. Farooq Sattar has said that his party has strong reservations over the exploitation of the urban population specially in the education field.
Addressing a crowded press conference at the Central Election Office at Pakistan House Sattar pointed out that more or less 400,000 children have participated in the matriculation exams from Karachi, out of which 45% have been declared failed, similarly about 65% of intermediate board candidates could not pass the exams while on the contrary results from interior Sindh are showing that 80% candidates have passed the matric and intermediate exams.

"The question arises whether the children of Karachi have stopped studying?" He said that hundreds and thousands of students were affected due to the corrupt officers of secondary and the intermediate education boards.
The MQM-P leader claimed that Sindh government-appointed bureaucracy has been given free rein to exploit the students of Karachi.
