Suspect in constable’s murder held
Police have arrested a man suspected of having murdered a constable about two weeks ago in Qadarpur Raan. According to police sources, Constable Sajid Pervez, resident of Jindwah in Qadarpur Raan, was attending the marriage ceremony of a cousin when Muhammad Waseem entered the hall and opened fire at him. The official died on the spot, while the assailant managed to escape from the scene. A police team arrested Waseem and seized the murder weapon from his possession.The sources said the suspect had confessed that he had killed Sajid Pervez.
