Men should learn to balance and alter their ways: Talha Chahour pens note as 'Mannat Murad' ends
In a heartfelt note shared on Instagram, actor Talha Chahour expressed his gratitude as the television series Mannat Murad reached its conclusion. He took a moment to thank the audience and fans for their overwhelming love and support for the show.
The star shared images of him and Iqra Aziz. He penned alongside, "As Mannat Murad comes to an end, I want to take a moment to thank the audience/fans for giving it plenty of love. I had chosen this character to address an issue that does not let peace enter our homes."
He continued, "Men should learn to balance and alter their ways to maintain balance in their relationships despite their conditioning that tells them otherwise. I know it gets hard for only sons to fight the influence of their immediate families on their married lives, but with clear communication, a willingness to observe/accept the realities, and giving due importance (not more, not less) to each of the relationships, a boy can navigate through life's problems."
He furthered on, "I understand that it is also hard for single mothers to trust the companions of their sons, they might get insecure as well. But, maybe by giving a little space and focusing on our individual lives, we can all play our due part to make happy homes."
Expressing his gratitude to the producers Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi for bringing such impactful stories to the screen, Chahour thanked Marie Khan and Younus Shafi for their unwavering support. He also thanked director Syed Wajahat Hussain for trusting Talha with the character. "Sir, thank you for all the quality things I have learned on the sets!" he stated.
Talha added, "Kudos to Nadia Akhtar jee for highlighting such an important issue in the script. I'm very grateful to Iqra Aziz for being such a wonderful and cooperative co-star. Mannat is now happy with Murad I guess!" He continued, "A huge shoutout to Irsa Ghazal jee for acing the character so well. I will always adore you Maa jee! Grateful to my lovely sisters in [Mannat Murad]."
The actor also expressed admiration for his co-actors and the entire team behind the scenes. He thanked them for their cooperation and sincerity, emphasizing that such achievements are not possible without their dedicated efforts. He added, "And a big thank you to all the team behind the cam because without their cooperation and sincerity, nothing can be achieved. See you all with another meaningful story, InshAllah."
