NAB will not harass public servants, says Chairman Nazir Ahmed

Anonymous complaints or those under fictitious names will not be accepted

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Lt Gen (retd) Nazir Ahmed while addressing the civil servants at Sindh Secretariat on Monday said that he wants to assure the officers that NAB will not harass them and they should openly play their key role in the development of the country.

Addressing officials at the Sindh Secretariat, he emphasized ongoing reforms within NAB to prevent officers from facing media trials during complaint verification and inquiry processes. Anonymous complaints or those under fictitious names will not be accepted.

Acknowledging pressure on bureaucrats, he urged them to hold open Katcheries to address public issues directly.

Chairman NAB pledged to establish a facilitation desk at the Chief Secretary Sindh Office, fast-tracking resolutions for government officers' concerns and complaints.
