Extortion case registered against Lyari gangsters
A case has been registered against the alleged gang war linchpin, Rusi Lakho, and two unidentified armed men in connection with the attempted extortion by firing at a mart in Musa Lane, Liyari.
The incident was caught on CCTV cameras and the footage went viral on social media. On Saturday night, unidentified suspects on a motorbike fired shots while making their escape from Musa Lane in the Baghdadi police station area.
There were no casualties in the incident.

Initial investigations classify the shooting as an extortion attempt. Late into the night, Baghdadi police registered the case under Sections 324, 385, 387, 34/109, and Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act against the mart owner, Abdul Rahim Khan.
Abdul Rahim Khan recounted that at around 7:10 pm on Saturday, he was running a generator due to a power outage when the firing occurred. Bullets hit the mart's freezer, but the security guard confirmed no injuries.
The armed suspects, riding a motorcycle, fired with apparent intent to kill before fleeing towards the road.
