Former senator Faisal Vawda on Friday said took a dig at PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif on Friday and said the former premier will come into power for a fourth time after "seeking support from his shoulders".

Referring to the PML-N as "lame", Vawda said he is congratulating Nawaz in advance and "what a wonderful country" we have.

In a rather cryptic post on X (formerly Twitter), the former senator also said that the judges should also be held accountable.

Earlier, the former senator said Nawaz's acquittal proved that he was treated “unfairly” in the past, adding that they accepted the former premier’s exoneration in court cases “whole-heartedly”.

He asked what would happen if the decision on PML-N supremo’s fate is proved wrong in future.

Vawda had also asked under which law PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari was kept in prison, and what would happen to those who had ordered the demolition of Nasla Tower in Karachi.

He further bemoaned that the country suffered losses of billions in the Reko Dik case but no action was taken.

Vawda regretted that corruption in the society was rampant, noting that widows on the streets were seeking justice and people were dying in jails without medication.
