Three children die in North Waziristan explosion

The children, aged between five and 15 years, were grazing goats in the field at the time of unfortunate incident

In a tragic incident on Thursday, three children lost their lives due to an explosion within the fields of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan, Express News reported.

The blast occurred in the vicinity of the Khajori check post in Mir Ali during the afternoon in a field where children were grazing goats at the time.

According to police, the explosion took place near a hotel, leading to the unfortunate demise of the three children.

The ages of the children ranged between five and 15 years old, and they were residents of Khajoori Zakir Khel village.

The police have shifted the bodies to the Mir Ali Headquarters Hospital, and efforts are underway to determine the nature of the explosion. However, police suspect that it could be a landmine explosion.
