Alhamra centre lines up music, art, literary events

Alhamra Art Centre is set to unfold its calendar of literary and cultural events for 2024 with a spellbinding classical music night on Tuesday.

The event will feature classical singer Nadeem Riaz Malik. The artistic line-up will continue with ‘The lure of Wasli’ exhibition at Alhamra Art Gallery from January 6, showcasing 35 works by 11 accomplished artists.

The show will remain open till January 12. Literature will take center stage on January 13 and 14 with the seventh Afkar-e-Taza Think Fest under the theme 'Winter of discontent' inspired by the profound words from a play by William Shakespeare.

The citizens will be treated to 8th Faiz Festival from February 9 to 11 with an international congregation of delegates contributing.
