The Airport Security Force (ASF) team arrested a passenger discovering heroin worth crores of rupees in his bag at Faisalabad International Airport on Sunday.

The suspect was handed over to the anti-narcotics police station.

According to reports, an attempt to smuggle heroin worth crores of rupees at Faisalabad International Airport was foiled by ASF team.

A passenger identified as Waqas was searched and authorities found ice and heroin worth crores of rupees concealed in his luggage. The suspect was bound for Bahrain.

The accused Waqas had hidden one-and-a-half kilograms of ice and heroin in the false bottom of his bag, which was found during a search.

He was handed over to the ANF, where a case was registered against the accused.
