Armeena Khan recently conveyed a reflective and poignant message through her Instagram Stories, shedding light on her evolving spiritual journey. In her message, Armeena candidly shared a personal revelation, admitting her previous inconsistency in performing salat (prayers).
However, following her father's passing and influenced by his counsel, she expressed a sincere effort to be more diligent in observing her prayers. She penned, "I must admit, I wasn't very good with my Salat but after my father's passed and upon his advice, I'm trying not to miss anything." Khan also revealed a contemplative statement she recently encountered that deeply affected her.
"I read something that terrified me recently: 'If Allah removes salat from your life and you're living comfortable, He's given you the duniya.' It is scary because that means there is nothing for that person in the afterlife," stated the star, evoking a sense of unease regarding the potential spiritual repercussions in the afterlife for neglecting prayers.
Despite her earnest sharing, Armeena swiftly clarified that her intent was not to impose religious views but rather to share her personal spiritual growth. She addressed any potential misconception, preemptively explaining, "I'm not preaching, in case you're thinking, 'Oh here's another actress, shoving religion down our throats.' I'm not honestly." Acknowledging her own imperfections, she humbly sought forgiveness if her message inadvertently conveyed an unintended tone.
The star added, "It's just I am excited about my spiritual journey and want to share details with my well-wishers. Allah SWT knows I'm so imperfect myself, so please forgive me if I'm coming across as such, it is not my intention." Recently, the actor took to her social media to announce the tragic demise of her father. Armeena shared a heartfelt post on her Instagram account, saying, “I just lost my father…Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Illahi Rajeoun. Please, may I request that you include him in your prayers. May Allah grant him the highest of heavens, till we meet again, dad.”
In a separate post on X (formerly Twitter), she commended her father for putting up a ‘brave fight’ in his last days. Earlier, the actor had penned a short post on X (formerly Twitter) to request prayers from followers for her father’s wellbeing who was then in the intensive care unit. Industry big-wigs, fans, and other well-wishers united to offer their condolences to the star.
