AITeC explores collaboration with Chinese AiMall Tech

A high-profile delegation from Pakistan’s Artificial Intelligence Technology Centre (AITeC) embarked on a visit to Shenzhen AiMall Technology Company, Limited, a prominent Chinese AI company, on December 16. The visit aimed to foster bilateral cooperation and delve into future collaboration plans within the realm of AI technology. The delegation included Director General Nadeem Ahmed, Technical Director Dr Aminuddin Qureshi, Director Dr Syed Khursheed Hasnain, and Mr Kamran Qureshi.

During the visit, Nadeem Ahmed provided insights into the global and Pakistani AI development landscape. Through a comprehensive video presentation, he detailed AITeC’s research progress in AI, emphasising the establishment of core AI laboratories focusing on computer vision, natural language processing, machine learning, and deep learning. AITeC is dedicated to conducting high-quality research and development in various AI fields.

Dr Yang Heng, Chairman of AiMall, along with Chen Zai, Strategic Planning Director, and Ji Chuande, Technical Expert, accompanied the delegation. Discussions between the two parties covered a spectrum of AI technology topics, including large models, computer vision, and embodied intelligence. Future business cooperation and training courses were also explored.

The delegation visited AiMall’s AI product area, where Heng showcased the application of AI technology in diverse Chinese industries.
