At least 13 people died, whereas 1,280 were injured in 1,197 Road Traffic Crashes (RTCs) reported across all 37 districts of Punjab during the past 24 hours.
Of the injured, 572 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 708 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue Medical Teams.

The majority of RTCs involved motorbikes. Further analysis showed those 696 drivers, 43 underage drivers, 162 pedestrians and 435 passengers were among the victims.
