Four injured in Wadh explosion

Medical assistance provided to victims, and one individual in critical condition airlifted to Karachi

QUETTA:

An explosion in Wadh Tehsil, Khuzdar district of Balochistan on Wednesday left at least four people injured. According to Levies sources, an old, nonoperational mortar shell exploded in the Langariji area of Wadh Tehsil, causing severe injuries to four individuals, including women and children. The loud blast also triggered widespread panic in the vicinity. Local authorities, including Levies and police officials, transported the injured to the hospital.

Medical assistance was provided to the victims, and one individual in critical condition was airlifted to Karachi for further treatment. Two others were transferred to local medical facilities in Khuzdar for necessary care.

The explosion occurred in an already tense environment, marked by a state of war between two rival political factions in the district.
