The actor took to Instagram to express his delight at the honour, sharing pictures of himself posing with two wax statues modelled after him.

In the Instagram post’s caption, Ranveer penned a long note recalling his first memories of the wax museum. “Growing up, I was fascinated by old photos of my parents alongside some of the world’s most famous & prominent personalities, only to realize that they were wax figures at London’s famed Madame Tussauds,” the actor shared.

Reflecting on his long journey from then to now, he furthered on, “The allure of that mythical museum stayed with me, making it surreal to now have my very own wax figure there. Gratitude fills me as my figure stands amongst the most accomplished personalities in the world. An unforgettable moment, compelling me to reflect on the magical cinematic journey that has led me to this moment.”

In a series of Instagram Stories, Ranveer was seen at the museum with his mother in a tender familial portrait as the duo observed the wax statues. “My whole universe! See how proud she is. God is kind. I am truly blessed,” the actor wrote in the overlaying text on a picture of his mother posing with the statue.
