With 330 stalls set up by local, international publishers, book fair maintained its momentum even on fifth day

The 18th edition of the Karachi International Book Fair (KIBF), organised by the Pakistan Publishers and Booksellers Association at the Karachi Expo Center, concluded successfully. On the final day, publishers delighted book enthusiasts by offering books at significantly discounted rates.

IBF, spanning from December 14 to December 18, attracted an estimated 0.5 million participants, including students, women, the elderly, legal professionals, judges, political figures, literary and academic communities, religious representatives, private school organisations, and individuals from various backgrounds, including foreign embassies.

With 330 stalls set up by local and international publishers, the book fair maintained its momentum even on the fifth day, drawing a continued crowd and showcasing the evident enthusiasm of buyers. Chairman Aziz Khalid, KIBF Convener Waqar Mateen, and other members expressed gratitude to participants from Sindh and across the country, emphasising the significant presence of students and citizens, who demonstrated a strong affinity for books and further fueled the success of the event.
