Doctors at government hospitals have braced themselves to attend to a large number of children suffering from malaria.

KARACHI: Doctors at government hospitals have braced themselves to attend to a large number of children suffering from malaria in the next few days. They fear the children may include residents of interior Sindh, after the recent torrential rains and floods. The issue is not merely about an outbreak of disease but also its poor handling that has already led to resistance against anti-malaria drugs, a child specialist said.
