Altercation at salon results in fatal stabbing
A dispute over a haircut took a horrifying turn as a 25-year-old man, Abdul Rehman Ali, lost his life at the hands of a hairstylist, Ibrahim, who allegedly stabbed him with a pair of scissors before fleeing the scene. The incident unfolded at a salon located in the Saiful Goth area within the Sindh Industrial and Trading Estate (SITE) Superhighway.
According to eyewitnesses, the confrontation escalated from a disagreement over the haircut that Ibrahim had given Rehman. Initially, the exchange of discontent took the form of verbal disputes, with both parties exchanging heated words.
The situation took a deadly turn when, in a fit of anger, Ibrahim seized a pair of pointed haircutting scissors from the salon counter and inflicted a fatal stab wound to Rehman’s neck. Ibrahim hastily fled the scene, leaving Rehman collapsing on the ground. Police moved the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for necessary legal procedures.
