The Sindh Inter-Division Boxing Championship 2023 concluded at the Abu Bakar Trunk Wala Boxing Arena in the Lyari People's Football Stadium under the supervision of Pakistan Rangers Sindh and the Sindh Boxing Association.
From December 12 to 14, the championship featured 105 athletes from seven divisions of Sindh, as reported by a spokesperson for Rangers on Friday. The event included 21 women and 84 male boxers who competed in 90 matches across 15 categories throughout the tournament.
The closing ceremony was attended by special guests, including the Area Sector Commander of Pakistan Rangers Sindh, along with various dignitaries, social personalities, officials from the Sindh Boxing Association, local leaders, and senior officers of Rangers. In the championship finals, the team from Lyari secured the top position, followed by Karachi in second place, and Hyderabad claimed the third position.
