PESHAWAR:

Amir Jammat-e-Islami (JI), Sirajul Haq has said that stable elected government was need of the hour in order to bring peace to the country.

Addressing a rally in Batagram, he said that general elections in the country should be held on time to foil the evil designs of terrorists and anarchists.

He added that due to corruption and bad governance the economy collapsed and all those who ruled Pakistan showed really poor and zero performance.

“Those who ruled the country in the past have no narrative to tell the general public and ask for vote in return,” he observed, adding that those aspiring to reach the corridors of power should tell people about their achievements.

On this occasion dozens of people announced joining JI.

Siraj said that a few families had been imposed on the country in the name of democracy and they are involved in massive corruption.

“Everyone is fed up with skyrocketing inflation, law and order and corruption in the country,” he argued, adding that those who deceived the nation would face the music in the next general elections.
