Thousands of doctors, as well as paramedics, took to National Stadium Road in Karachi to participate in the "White Coat March," demanding a ceasefire in Gaza and against Israeli war crimes in the occupied region.
The march was taken out from the National Stadium signal to the Liaquat National Hospital (LNH), here on Sunday. The march was led by Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Engr Hafiz Naeemur Rehman.
Interim Sindh Health Minister Saad Khalid Niaz, newly elected General Secretary of the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Abdul Ghafoor Shooro, Dr Abdullah Mutaqi of the Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA), Dr Sabir Abu Maryum General Secretary of the Palestine Foundation, Dr Azra Rafiq, Dr Aziza Anjum of PIMA women wing, Alkhidmat Director Health Services Dr Saqib Ansari and others also addressed the marchers.

Rehman hailed the role of doctors for raising the issue of Gaza and highlighting the Israeli crimes and collaboration of the United States and several other countries in this regard.
He hailed Hamas over its struggle against occupation and its handling of prisoners and also highlighted the difference between handling of prisoners by Israel and Hamas.
Interim Sindh Health Minister Saad Khalid Niaz in his address dubbed the issue of Palestine as a matter of the entire humanity and not just religions. The minister made it clear that he participated in the march in his personal capacity as he himself was sick of the Sindh government
