The Punjab University Academic Council has decided to continue the associate degree programme in the affiliated colleges under both the annual and semester systems.
The decision was taken as per a request of the colleges during a meeting presided over by Vice Chancellor Dr Khalid Mahmood.

The council also adopted the PhD, postgraduate, undergraduate and anti-plagiarism policies of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
It approved new programmes on the recommendations of the Board of Studies and Faculty Boards of various departments.
Meanwhile, the Punjab University Institute of Special Education will organise the 4th National Conference on Research in Special Education on Tuesday.
