Siddiqui addressing a cheering crowd boomed, “if the state denies power to the people, we will grab it and run government on the streets, and if the destiny of the country is not in the hands of the people, we will snatch it from the feudal lords.”

He lauded the resilience of the people of Korangi, where women, during the worst bloodbath in the city, bathed, shrouded and buried their men with their own hands.
