Clash over a family dispute occurs involving two groups, says a police spokesperson

RAWALPINDI:

A woman lost her life and three individuals sustained injuries in a firing incident in Chauntra police station in Rawalpindi.

According to a police spokesperson, a clash over a family dispute occurred in the Chauntra area, involving two groups. During the altercation, gunfire erupted, resulting in severe injuries to Shaban and Sajila from one group and Basharat and Imran from the other group.

Sajila succumbed to her injuries during the incident, while the other three were transported to the hospital.

On this matter, Rawalpindi's City Police Officer, Syed Khalid Hamdani, took notice and ordered the immediate arrest of those involved in the incident. The ASP stated that the suspects involved in the incident would be arrested and presented before the court to face the law. Our correspondent

On the same day, Rawalpindi district police arrested eight gamblers and recovered Rs16,950 stake money, six mobile phones, and other items from their possession.

New Town police conducted a raid and arrested Rajab Ali, Zafar Iqbal, Yaseen, Muhammad Nadeem, Muhammad Irshad, Muhammad Zafar, Muhammad Tariq and Zafar Iqbal, who were allegedly involved in betting while playing cards.
