KMC to set up child health institute, says mayor

City Mayor Murtaza Wahab has announced that the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) is set to establish Karachi Institute of Child Health within Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
While speaking at the inauguration of a new children's ward at the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital on Wednesday, he also unveiled plans for the establishment of Karachi Metropolitan University in the Central district.

Addressing challenges faced by the metropolitan city, the city mayor underlined the importance of constructive politics and expressed optimism for the coming year.
He asserted the commitment of the municipal leadership to improving conditions at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and ensuring the well-being of its staff.
