In a bid to fortify the deep-rooted bonds between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday for a four-day visit.
Welcomed by esteemed figures, including Federal Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti and Chairman of Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, Federal Minister for Education Madad Ali Sindhi and Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, the spiritual leader's visit is poised to enhance brotherly relations and foster collaboration between the two nations.
Scheduled to lead the Friday Prayer at the iconic Faisal Mosque, Imam-e-Kaaba's presence during this occasion is anticipated to resonate deeply with the local Muslim community.

As part of his visit, Imam-e-Kaaba is set to engage in crucial meetings with key figures, including the President, Prime Minister, Chief of Army Staff, and other high-ranking officials.
Ashrafi, who is also Special Representative to the Prime Minister on Religious Harmony and Pakistani Diaspora in the Middle East and Muslim Countries, expressed the widespread anticipation surrounding Imam-e-Kaaba's visit.
Ashrafi emphasised the significance of this spiritual and diplomatic engagement, highlighting its potential to contribute to the promotion of peace, unity, and shared values between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
