Glenn Maxwell's wife calls out Indian trolls over hateful messages post Australia win in WC 2023

The after-effects of India's loss to Australia in the World Cup 2023 final are just as vile as one might guess

The after-effects of India's loss to Australia in the World Cup 2023 final are just as vile as one might guess. After several disgruntled fans left horrifying comments under the social media posts of wives of the Australian cricketers, Vini Raman, Glenn Maxwell's wife, took to Instagram to address the hateful DMs.

Raman called out the trolls targeting Australian cricketers following India's defeat against Australia in the ICC Men's CWC 2023 at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.

Raman's statement surfaced a day after Australia clinched a historic victory over India to claim their sixth World Cup title. Reports revealed cyberbullying and abuse directed at some Australian players post India's loss to Australia.

Although Maxwell didn't have the chance to bat, he made a pivotal impact by taking the crucial wicket of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who was in commanding form during the final match. Maxwell's exceptional form throughout the tournament stood out, notably his remarkable unbeaten 201 against Afghanistan, steering Australia to victory almost single-handedly.
