Kabir Singh from Daraz: Internet trolls Danish Taimoor's latest 'toxic' avatar

A user of the site formerly known as Twitter shared the clip

A clip from Danish Taimoor's recent offering has spread like wildfire, and going by what some people are saying, one can assume it isn't for the best reasons. A snippet of the star walking angrily towards a group of people, with dramatic music supplementing the scene, is circulating on X.

A user of the site formerly known as Twitter shared the clip with the caption, "Kabir Singh from Daraz." In a follow-up post, the user noted, "They even tried to copy the background music." Once the clip was on X, there was no going back. Netizens pounced upon the 45-second snippet like no tomorrow.

Chiming in with agreement, one user of the site said, "So true! I don't know why Pakistani drama scene writers and actors are so obsessed with Indian stories and acting!" Some X users couldn't get over the fact that the background music seemed similar. "They even copied the [background] music but in lo-fi version," said one X user. Another user gave an exact timestamp, saying, "The [background music] from 0:21." However, they didn't stop there. This particular user decided to share their take on the star's choice of roles. "No but seriously doesn't he get tired of doing the same type of roles all over again?" they wondered out loud.

Once the criticism floodgates opened, there was no going back. "Why is this guy always playing [a] toxic, obsessive and controlling freak?" questioned one X user. Another seemingly angrier user asked, "Why is he doing the same stupid cringe dramas that make no sense? [Can he not do some respectable work?]

Some genuine critique seemed to come from an X user who seemed appreciative of Danish otherwise. "Why does he have to do the same drama twice or thrice every year when he was like so good in Chand Taara? Probably the good part about that show was only him," they highlighted.

Then there were those who criticised - wait for it - his walk. "Why does he walk like a character from GTA V?" asked one user of the microblogging site. Another said sarcastically, "I love this actually; the penguin waddle thing he is doing, the fact that we are supposed to believe Danish Taimoor being in a college is normal, that three people fall when he punches one of them, the background music. This is cinema."
