Man’s body found buried at home

After returning home, Shahid could not find his 60-year-old father

Unknown suspects killed an elderly man and buried his body in the courtyard of his house.

The victim’s remains and clothes were recovered from during excavation work at the house, prompting police to register a case and start searching for the unidentified accused.

In the complaint filed by Shahid Iqbal, a resident of 642 Gb, it was stated that he had left the village a month and a half ago for work and when he returned, his 60-year-old father Yasin was not present at home.

In spite of a search, Shahid was unable to find his father.

On Sunday, Shahid’s sister Shafi Bibi and mother Naheed Bibi started to spread soil in the garden, when they found the clothes and skeletal remains of Yasin underneath. After the victim was killed by unidentified suspects, they dug a hole and buried him in the yard of the house to hide their crime.

Police started the legal proceedings after seizing the victim’s remains and clothes.
