After Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to star as female cop in 'Singham Again'

Ajay Devgn unveils the actor's first look as Avni Singham in his highly awaited Rohit Shetty film

Rohit Shetty's latest installment in his cop universe, Singham Again, marks the return of Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is reportedly reprising her role as Singham's devoted wife, Avni Kamat, as per The Indian Express. The film will also star Ajay Devgn as the fearless and daring DCP Bajirao Singham.

Devgn took to social media to reveal Kapoor's captivating first look from the film. The image showcases the Jaane Jaan actor exuding strength and confidence. "Fierce, Strong, and Singham's strength! Meet Avni Singham!" Devgn aptly captioned the post while adding hashtags of Kapoor and himself.

Kapoor, who has previously collaborated with Shetty on successful films like Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3, and Singham Returns, expressed her enthusiasm about joining the Singham Again cast on Instagram. "It's about time... Rejoining forces with the cop verse," she wrote on Instagram.

Singham Again is slated to release on August 15, 2024. The film will also feature the star-studded cast of Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff in pivotal roles. The team is excited to have the lead pair back. The Heroine actor will be the female lead, but details regarding her character are being kept under wraps.

Rohit Shetty's cop universe started with Singham, followed by two sequels. Padukone recently joined the franchise as Lady Singham in Singham Again. Kapoor previously appeared in Singham Returns as the protagonist's love interest, Avni. Kapoor most recently appeared with Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha and completed filming for Hansal Mehta's Jaane Jaan on Netflix.
