BAJAUR:

Two individuals lost their lives due to a personal dispute in the Bajaur tribal district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) on Tuesday.

The local police reported that in the Alizai area of Bajaur, a father and son, identified as Hazrat Umar (55) and Sultan Akbar (30), were tragically killed.

The accused individuals have been named as Yar Akbar, Noor Akbar, Lal Akbar, and Bakhat Akbar, all residents of the Alizai area.

Apparently, this unfortunate event stemmed from a long-standing land dispute. On Tuesday, a disagreement arose over tree-cutting, which escalated into a violent altercation. As a result, the four accused individuals opened fire on the father and son, resulting in their immediate deaths, according to a police official.

Separately, unidentified assailants fatally shot a schoolteacher in the district.

DSP Niamatullah Khan told The Express Tribune that Shakirullah Khan met his untimely demise when unknown culprits opened fire on him in Khar Pul, within the tehsil of Khar.

After committing this heinous act, the culprits managed to flee the scene. Shakirullah Khan served as a teacher at the Frontier Corps Public School in Khar and was also a shop owner.

As of now, no entity has claimed responsibility for the attack; however, the police have initiated an investigation into the matter and filed an FIR.
