The Sindh Education Department has decided to introduce digital marketing diploma for the first time in 30 government colleges of Sindh. Diploma in digital marketing has been launched in the government colleges of Sindh.
Diploma in digital marketing will be conducted in 30 government colleges of Sindh, including five in Karachi, four in Hyderabad, six Mirpurkhas, four Larkana, four Sukkur, and five in Shaheed Benazirabad colleges.
A five-member committee had been constituted to finalise the structure, which would examine the technical aspect and make the mechanism. The digital marketing module had been passed by the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission. In this regard, Secretary Colleges Sadaf Shaikh told The Express Tribune that in the first phase, the digital marketing diploma would be of one year.
“Students will have a two-hour daily class for diploma. We have introduced this especially for the Computer Science students but any other group can also do this diploma if they want to.” Sadaf said this would open employment opportunities for students as they would possess experience when they enter the university.
