ICMA marks Global Ethics Day

Global Ethics Day 2023 was celebrated nationwide on all campuses of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (ICMA) on Wednesday, October 18. Global Ethics Day is an annual event celebrated worldwide to raise awareness about the importance of ethics in our personal and professional lives, said an ICMA statement.

Student-led activities were arranged where students of ICMA participated in discussions on the important topics of ethics & sustainability, leadership and especially with reference to the profession of accountancy. ia Mustafa explained the objectives of Global Ethics Day and its importance in promoting dialogue and discussion about ethical issues and challenges that affect individuals, communities, and societies on a global scale. Students actively participated in the event and appreciated the efforts of ICMA in creating awareness about the event.
