Return: Ponting to miss 2nd Test

Ponting has gone home for the birth of his second child and will miss the second test.

Ricky Ponting will not feature in the second Test against Sri Lanka that starts in Kandy next week as he heads home for the birth of his second chilld. David Warner was named as his replacement.

"Ponting will miss the second Test against Sri Lanka but plans to return in time for the final Test. Warner will remain with the squad until Ponting returns." said Cricket Australia.
