Fire erupts in freight coaches at City Station

KARACHI:

A fire broke out in four coaches of a goods train at Karachi City Railway Station on Saturday morning.

Reportedly, the fire broke out in four cargo bogies. Six fire engines managed to bring the blaze under control within an hour. The cargo bogies primarily contained wood and scrap materials, which were destroyed in the fire.

The exact cause of the fire remained unknown. Karachi Railways, Divisional Superintendent, Nasir Khalili has instructed the railway police to investigate the incident and take appropriate action.
